Late October 2019 - Specific date to be determined
“Koats for Kids” is a community service of the Boys and Girls Club of London with area businesses and service clubs acting as partners in this very worthwhile undertaking – to ensure that every child is warm in the winter! Members of the Horton Street Seniors’ Centre, Club staff, students and community volunteers help distribute new or gently used coats and winter apparel in good condition of any size.
One coat will be given to each child/youth (0 to 18 years old) free of charge while quantities last. Proof of age will be required for each individual receiving a coat. Children and youth don't have to be present to receive a coat but proper identification is required. There is no registration for this program. Coats are not available for adults.
In the fall, we start our appeal to the public. We ask them to drop off the winter apparel at the Club or at any of participating drop-off locations consisting of local businesses, organizations, and schools throughout the city. Help us ensure every child and youth is warm for the winter!
Should you have any questions, please contact Christina Yung at 519-434-9115 ext. 241 or firstname.lastname@example.org
If anyone would like to donate funds to the Koats for Kids campaign, all proceeds will be used to cover administrative costs such as printing for posters, and to purchase new coats for next year's campaign.

During the 12 Days of Christmas event, over 1,800 children are treated to a traditional Christmas dinner with all the trimmings along with a small gift. We invite you to contribute and become a sponsor for one of the twelve nights of holiday meals. Sponsorship includes the opportunity for you, your family, friends or your staff to volunteer together for one night and help us serve the meal and celebrate the festive season with the kids.
Should you have any questions about sponsorship, please contact Michelle Hancock at 519-434-9115 ext. 229 or email@example.com.
For all other inquiries including volunteering, please contact the Boys and Girls Club of London at 519-434-9114 or firstname.lastname@example.org.

Form a team and join us to make a splash. Teams raise pledges and challenge themselves to swim in our pool to raise funds for children and youth programs at the Club. It’s a fun, team building opportunity to enjoy an evening of good fun, friends, food, and prizes while supporting children and youth in our community. More information can be found on our event page here - www.bgclondon.ca/swimathon.

Thank you to the students and faculty at Fanshawe College Fashion Design program for mending rips and tears, and replacing zippers on winter coats.
In 2017, over 30 coats and snow pants were diverted from the landfill and given back to the Boys and Girls Club for Koats for Kids 2018.
Thank you so much to the members of Dad Club London who collected over 400 coats and donated $1,500 to Koats for Kids 2018.
