About Us

The Boys' & Girls' Club of London is a non-profit recreational facility that provides activities for children whenever school is out. Our program services are planned to provide fun with a purpose. We offer recreation, social interaction and educational programs to build confidence, independence, self-esteem and self-respect for individuals and families in need. The Boys' & Girls' Club deals directly with the disadvantaged youth of our community. The Club gives children and teens of all abilities a place where they can learn and play away from the worries of the street.

All Club programs utilize a variety of in-house facilities including an exciting new swimming pool, gymnasium, ball and foam room, computer room, games room, craft room, activity rooms and the Club House Café. Free Bussing for children is available to the Club during the week from locations throughout the City. A nightly Supper Club program offers nutritious meals at a cost of just $ 1.00 or nothing at all. During the summer and school holidays, day camps are offered. The children enjoy a full day of scheduled activities that may include swimming, gym games, crafts and out-trips. Swimming lessons are also offered throughout the year.

The Club's extended family has grown to include over 1,000 Senior Citizens and 120 unemployed adults and teens who are receiving practical training for job readiness. The adult programs run during the day time when the children are in school. The Horton St. Seniors Centre operates in the Boys' & Girls' Club from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday to Friday and offers aquatics programs, exercise programs and social activities. Seniors are welcome to attend a guided tour of the building on Thursdays at 10:00 am from September to June.
