What is the Peer-2-Peer Mentorship Program?

This is a NEW Social Program, which allows children and tweens to connect on a one-to-one basis. Together, the pair will take part in a variety of structured activities – origami, cooking fun, arts and crafts, out-trips, and much more interactive activities. All of the activities foster healthy relationship building, positive building in regards to self-esteem, and a strong, ongoing, progressive mental health and well-being!

What ages can participate?

Mentees are 6 to 9-years-olds.
Mentors are 10 to 13-year-olds.

When is it offered?

Mondays starting October 16, 2017 to December 11, 2017
6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Board Room

What are the benefits of participating in this program?

The intention of this program is to support children and tweens in building healthy interactions and connections. 

Aiming to teach one another, and helping everyone discover the importance and the benefits of a role model and relatable mentor. 

Helping them understand the compromises of relationships, and the skills and patience needed to build positive, long-lasting relationships!
