What is Safe at Home Alone?

This group focuses on the importance of home alone safety. Participants will be provided with the real and relevant life skills. We are aiming to encourage children to feel confident being alone and we will accomplish this through scenarios that teach independence.

What ages can participate?

Ages 10 to 13 who are home alone for a maximum of three (3) hours at a time.

  • Fire safety
  • Internet safety
  • First aid essentials
  • Boundaries and Comfort zones
  • Fun and safe meal ideas
  • Importance of Independence and Confidence

When is it Offered?

Wednesdays from 5:15 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. starting the week of October 1st, 2018 and ending the week of December 7th, 2018.

No programs operating on October 31st, 2018 (Halloween).
