Day Camp Bus Driver / Counsellor - Summer
Monday to Friday
Qualifications:
F’ Class Driver’s License required
Ability to supervise activities at a particular program location to ensure the care, safety and security of Day Campers during program hours
Current First Aid & C.P.R. certification required
High Five Certification in Principles of Healthy Child Development 100 required
Vulnerable Sector Police Clearance issued by local police station, within 3 months of offer of employment, required
Experience supervising children in a recreation/camp environment
Basic swimming skills an asset
N.L.S. certification an asset
Tentative start date: June 22, 2012– Part-time hours available prior.
Potential candidates will receive an invitation to attend the Summer Employment Pre-Selection Clinic, which will be held on Saturday March 3, 2012

Day Camp Inclusion Coordinator - Summer
Monday to Friday
Qualifications:
Completed/currently enrolled in related education in the area of intellectual disabilities (D.S.W, C.Y.W or equivalent) and/or a demonstrated interest is an asset
1 year of previous experience required overseeing an Inclusion program or 3 years supervising children with disabilities in a camp/recreation environment.
Ability to assess and interview with camper placement prior to camp
Ability to plan and implement inclusive camps programs, reports, budgets and evaluations
Ability to train, supervise, and evaluate inclusion counsellors in a camp setting
Ability to communicate with parents/guardians
Possess computer skills
Ability to provided support to staff and children and work frontline to provide 1:1 support or provide 2:1 support as needed.
Full G Driver’s License is required
Current First Aid & C.P.R. certification required
High Five Certification in Principles of Healthy Child Development 100 required

Qualifications:
Must be attending post-secondary school or is a graduate.
2 years work experience supervising children’s day camps as a Coordinator
Ability to plan and implement inclusive camp programs, budgets and supervise staff
Possess excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
Knowledge in effective behaviour management techniques
Ability to supervise activities at various program locations to ensure the care, safety and security of Day Campers during program hours
Current Valid First Aid & C.P.R. certification required
High Five Certification in Principles of Healthy Child Development 100 required
Vulnerable Sector Police Clearance issued by local police station, within 3 months of offer of employment, required
C.P.I or P.M.A.B. certification required
Full G Driver’s License required (F Class license required for Camp On Wheels)
Basic swimming skills an asset
N.L.S. certification an asset
Tentative start date: Part-time until May 23, 2012 and Full-time as of May 24, 2012

Demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills
Available to work Morning, Evening and Weekend Shifts
Ability to teach Aquafit to Seniors an asset
Experience in program planning implementation and evaluation
