Koats for Kids 2018

Published September 28, 2018 00:00

Help us fill our closet with donations of new and gently used winter coats!

“Koats for Kids” is a community service of the Boys and Girls Club of London with area businesses and service clubs acting as partners in this very worthwhile undertaking – to ensure that every child is warm in the winter! Members of the Horton Street Seniors’ Centre, Club staff, students and community volunteers help distribute new or gently used coats and winter apparel in good condition of any size.

One coat will be given to each child/youth (0 to 18 years old) free of charge while quantities last. Proof of age will be required for each individual receiving a coat. Children and youth don't have to be present to receive a coat but proper identification is required. There is no registration for this program. Coats are not available for adults.

In the fall, we start our appeal to the public. We ask them to drop off the winter apparel at the Club or at any of participating drop-off locations consisting of local businesses, organizations, and schools throughout the city. Help us ensure every child and youth is warm for the winter!

Should you have any questions, please contact Christina Yung at 519-434-9115 ext. 241 or
