Horton Street Seniors' Centre

The Horton Street Seniors' Center provides recreational activities for seniors ages 55 and up. We offer exercise programs, aqua-fit classes, card games such as crib, bridge and euchre, as well as crafts, quilting, drama group and choir.

Seniors stay active while participating in our osteoporosis classes, line dancing, square dancing, darts, tai chi, badminton and morning fitness walks to name a few!

We have a fitness room where seniors have access to personalized programs depending on their individual fitness level.

There is a foot care clinic that runs on the fourth Thursday of each month and there are many special events and day trips that take place on a regular basis.

Seniors have full access to our transportation services by calling the transportation department at (519) 434-9119.

Some of the benefits seniors can achieve from being involved in the Centre:
    - Get into a routine.
    - Cope mentally with the aging process.
    - Meet new people.
    - Provides them with social intervention.

If you are thinking about becoming a member but would like more information come and join us for a tour of the facilities, you can learn more about our programs and pick up a copy of our brochure, every Thursday from September to June at 10:00 am. If you need transportation please call our Transit Department 519-434-9119 to schedule a trip.

Our Hours of operations are from 7:30 am - 3:00 pm.
