H.W. Coulson Swim-A-Thon (Swim-A-Thon) is a 1-mile (1.6 K) swim, dry land exercise equivalent or family swim event raising funds for the Boys and Girls Club of London (Club).  

Beginning in 1975, Swim-A-Thon is our Club’s longest running fundraising event. Since 2001, Swim-A-Thon has raised more than $1.13 million in support of creating an affordable, safe place where young people and seniors (55+ years) can explore their interests, develop their strengths, feel welcomed, cared for, accepted and included.  

Swim-A-Thon prides itself on participation and accessibility. As a family oriented event, adults and children of all ages are invited to participate; you do not need to be a Member of the Club or Horton Street Seniors' Centre. If swimming laps or pool time isn’t for you, there are options:

  1. Participate in the dry land (aka Sweat) activities at the Club or on your own before April 26, 2019. You would still register as a participant but have the flexibility to do your own thing. (Check-out the SWEAT-a-thon information sheet).
  2. Support the event by joining one of the Club’s child and youth teams registered and fundraising on their behalf.
