Social Programs are a fun, interactive and inclusive way children and youth can learn about themselves, build resilience, gain confidence, and learn practical life skills. Social Programs provide a safe space for participants to be themselves free of judgement.
These programs will be offered in-person at the Club - 184 Horton Street East.
Ages: 9 - 13
Date & Time: Mondays, 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Start Date: April 25th, 2022 (6 weeks, not offered on May 23rd, 2022)
Description: This girls-only group is designed to help girls aged 9 - 13 years understand and take care of themselves. In this group we will be discussing mental health, healthy habits, & spreading kindness through conversations, games, & crafts.
Ages: 10 - 13
Date & Time: Tuesdays, 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Start Date: April 26th, 2022 (7 weeks)
Description: This program is designed for 2SLGBTQIA + youth and Allies aged 10 - 13 years to come together & learn about themselves, their friends, or their loved ones. Together we will work to reduce stigma, create understanding, and build community.
Ages: 7 - 9
Date & Time: Wednesdays, 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Start Date: April 27th, 2022 (7 weeks)
Description: This group is designed to help children aged 7 – 9 years identify, understand, & cope with their emotions. We will use games, crafts, & activities to help children gain an understanding of themselves & others.
Ages: 9 - 13
Date & Time: Thursdays, 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Start Date: April 28th, 2022 (7 weeks)
Description: This boys-only group is designed to help boys aged 9 - 13 years understand and take care of themselves. In this group we will be discussing mental health, healthy habits, & spreading kindness through conversations, games, & crafts.

Date & Time: Fridays, 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Start Date: April 29th, 2022 (not offered on June 3rd, 2022)
Description: In this group, participants aged 10 - 13 years will learn the basics of leadership & advocacy. We will build our self-confidence and find ways to make positive changes in our lives and the world around us through conversations, games, & crafts.
