Virtual Day Camp

Jays Care Foundation

For a second time, we are very happy to bring Jays Care Virtual Camp into your family's home this summer! The Jays Care Virtual Camp team have worked hard over the last few months to develop an interactive and fun virtual camp experience.

Our Virtual Camp session are held at specific times and in an interactive way. This is important as we want to offer valuable social interactions to your kids where they get to spend time with two of our trained camp staff and other kids.

Jays Care Virtual Camp is designed to keep your child engaged for 90 minutes and introduce them to fun activities and friends their age.

Quick Facts

Your child will join a virtual camper group through Zoom with two live Camp Counsellors and other children their age in a camper group of no more than 15 kids. Each day of the week, for one week, for 90 minutes a day, your child will laugh, play, connect and learn with their camper group. Camp Counsellors have designed highly interactive and remarkably fun sessions tailored to your child’s age, and the week ends with a fun theme-based team challenge.

Virtual Camp is a great way for your child to connect with friends, make new friends, while being creative and learning new skills.

Equipment You'll Need

Your child(ren) will need access to a computer or tablet during the session. We will be using the platform Zoom. You will receive a link prior to the session, along with a password, through which you can join the meeting - no Zoom account is required to do so.

We will only use material that you have at home. Generally plastic bags, towels, rolled up socks, paper, crayons and color pencils. Also recycled material like egg cartons, glass containers, etc. Prior to each week of camp, a list will be sent out.
