The Back 40 Youth Bash is a youth only event in Thorndale, ON!
Youth in Grades 7 to 12 who attend this event will enjoy live music played by local youth bands, food, and they can choose to play games including human foosball, washer toss, bean bag toss, for a chance to win prizes.
This event is a chance for youth from different communities across Middlesex County to meet up with old friends, meet some new friends, and have a great night at this exciting youth only event!
Date: Friday, July 28th, 2023
Time: 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Ages: Grades 7 to 12 (12 to 18 years old)
Location*: Thorndale Fairgrounds (21737 Fairview Rd., Thorndale, ON N0M 2P0)
*If it rains, the event will be held at the Thorndale Lions Community Centre
Cost: $10 entrance fee includes activities, entertainment, opportunity to win prizes^, and a free snow cone *register and pay online
The Thorndale Optimist Club will be selling candies, popcorn, burgers, hotdogs, and fries. Some food items might contain allergens like nuts, so youth who have food allergies are asked to be aware of what they consume. Click here to see their menu and prices!
Prizes^: Each youth who plays the backyard games can enter to win one of six prizes: $50 VISA gift card, $25 Tim Horton's gift card, and exclusive Back 40 Youth Bash Tumbler and Candy baskets.
An email will be sent out a few days before the event with updates about what to expect, and parents will be given a cell phone number to call if there is an urgent need to reach someone at the event.

Grand Prize: A free recording session to record, mix and master one song in the Digital Creative Arts Centre (located in BGC London - 184 Horton Street East, London, ON). This prize package is valued at $1,500.
A gift certificate to the Ingersoll Music Academy, generously provided by the Ingersoll Music Academy.
And a gift certificate to a music store of your choice, generously provided by Middlesex County.
We are currently looking for youth to join the Thorndale Youth Action Team to help plan the event.
