Our Core Values

Some of our CORE PRINCIPLES at the Horton Street Seniors' Centre include:

1. We welcome all seniors in a safe, accepting environment, based on diversity, belonging and positive relationships.
2. We agree that all seniors should be valued, treated fairly, and encouraged to embrace a positive view of aging.
3. We work together with seniors, volunteers, partners, our community, and the Government to promote a positive mindset around active aging.

5. We advocate on behalf of our Members to age with dignity, by being an organization that fosters learning, wellness, physical activity, and social connections.
