Making learning fun!

The My Action Plan to Education, or M.A.P. program, is offered in two stages, ranging from grade 4 through post-secondary, to provide extra educational support to children and youth in London and surrounding areas.

Relying on four guiding principles, the M.A.P. program is aimed at building up the road to success in school.  These principals are:

  • Academic – through homework and tutoring help, we help students develop and meet their scholarly goals

  • Social – The M.A.P. program provides opportunities to develop relationships with mentors and peers and encourages a positive social environment.

  • Financial – We provide immediate assistance for transportation, food, clothing, books, and other educational support materials. We also help students look and apply for scholarships, bursaries and grants.

  • Advocacy – Partnering with parents, students, and community members we help promote positive school attendance while fostering academic and personal success.

A student's M.A.P. is developed to meet the needs of that individual youth. It involves the commitment of the youth, his or her parents as well as other partners who will help provide the youth with the best possible opportunities for success. Students will enter into the program in three phases, depending on what grade they are in.
