There are so many ways to participate in one of the many recreational and educational programs we provide to children, youth, and older adults (50 years and older) in London and its surrounding communities. Becoming a member is one of the easiest ways to get involved, grow your skills, and meet new people. 

We provide several different kinds of memberships, designed to meet the needs of our entire community.  These include: 

  • Child

  • Youth

  • Older Adult (50+ years old)

  • Rural

  • And visitor memberships for each level

Rates & Prices

Child & Youth

$25 - $100* per year (Grade 1 to 8 only)
$50 per year (Grades 9 to 12 only)

Older Adults

$115-$250 per year
Price is determined by the gross annual household income. Proof of income is required for the lowest rate.
Ages: 50 years and up

Rural Members

BGC Youth Members: $50 per person, per year (ages 8 to 18)

Note: You can use this membership in various locations - BGC London at 184 Horton Street East, and the Ilderton Youth Centre in Ilderton, ON.

Visitor

For Grades 1 to 12 - $3.00 per person, per visit to after-school recreation programs.

For ages 50+ (Horton Street 50+ Centre only) - $7.00 per person, per visit.

Member benefits & information

All members must bring their cards with them for each visit to sign in electronically.

  • All memberships allow you to receive a discount for Camps and Swim Lessons.

  • Membership cards will be issued approximately one week from the date of purchase.

  • Memberships must be renewed each year with a new form filled out.

  • Lost cards can be replaced for a fee of $3.

  • Members can request a refund two (2) weeks after purchase. The refund will be prorated as 11 months of their membership minus a $15.00 administration fee.

  • We also offer a bussing program as a courtesy but it is not guaranteed as part of your membership. Learn more to see if you qualify. 

  • We accept Act-i-pass
