About the HS 50+
The HS 50+ provides all older adults (50+ years old), living in London and the surrounding area, an opportunity to participate in social, recreational, educational, and health programs. Regular engagement in such activities leads to greater independence, promotes community involvement and social inclusion, fosters dignity and support while improving overall mental health and wellbeing for all individuals involved.
Kicking off the summer in style!
Our annual Block Party is held in the BGC London’s bus parking area at the end of June to celebrate the beginning of summer. Live music and meeting our neighbours are the main goals here - all done in support of the Horton Street 50+ Centre, so come out and join us for some fun!
Along with event access, your ticket fee includes:
A hamburger (vegetarian option is available)or hotdog,
A bag of chips
A beverage
All of the proceeds of this event will benefit the programs of the Horton Street 50+ Centre (HS 50+).
